BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE YOUTUBE

Hi, Lovelies!

I'm back at it again haha. This time sort of for real. I'm trying! Seriously! FYI I've uploaded our first "vlog" which is just Reesie's VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) graduation ceremony from La Petite Academy. I know it's not much, but I did finally edit it using my iPhone 8 Plus's iMovie. I'm a month late, but I did it and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, given the circumstances. I'm using what I have available, which is just my iPhone 8 and Kevin's Google Pixel 2 XL (but mostly my iPhone). Reesie was so excited and ecstatic to see herself on YouTube that she watched her own vlog 7 times on our TV haha.

When I decided to film Reesie's graduation, it was intended to share it with our friends and family back home in Chicago. Reesie's Papa (Kevin's dad) wasn't able to make it here for it and I wanted him to be able to enjoy it even if he was miles away. Kevin also has many family members in the Philippines and I know they'd love to see her too. There's only so much they can see with pictures. Videos takes it to a whole different level. It occurred to me then that if I vlogged more often and uploaded them to YouTube, our family and friends would be able to see more than just IG Stories and Snapchat and Facebook could provide.

And, wow, was it fun doing it!

It's my plan to continue to vlog as often as I can. It's like a video diary, something that Kevin and I can look back on over the years and enjoy all over again. My dad did it for my brother and I; recording home videos of us on a giant camcorder straight into VHS tapes that I still have to this day. I want to be able to record the girls and all their moments too. I'll eventually forget the little quirks they had since babyhood, but I'll be able to look back at it with these vlogs. It's exciting!

If you haven't seen it yet, please do and subscribe while you're there! I promise we'll have more fun content coming up soon!

Since her graduation fell on a Thursday evening, we decided to postpone her celebration dinner until Saturday. She picked Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs. It was a ton of fun with my family, and of course it's Disney Springs so it had a little magic with it.

I surprised her with dessert from Amorette's Patisserie.

This place, if you haven't heard yet, is a must-see. If you plan on going to Disney in the near future and have the time to stop by Disney Springs, check this place out. It's located in a corner right next to one of the entrances for World of Disney. Just walking into it feels magical! The little pastries and cakes they have are adorable! It is a little pricey, but I think it's well worth it to have a taste. We did the mini Mickey Mouse Mousse. It is decadent and heavenly, although my brother thought it was a little too rich for his tastes. Regardless, it is a very cute cake.

I mean seriously! How cute is this?!

We didn't take too many pictures because it was getting dark, but we did have fun walking around a little bit. Disney Spring's new layout is pretty cute after the renovations they've done. I personally enjoy it. Though I don't really go shopping in most of those stores, it is scenic and I do so enjoy scenic. I will admit I miss the old Downtown Disney Marketplace. We have tons of pictures from back then. But I do like the new Disney Springs too. It makes me smile every time we go, and we go as often as we can, since it is now so close to where we live.

I hope you all follow us on our journey!

Love sincerely,

Mich 💕
